Barzillai Benjamin, New York, retailed by Hyde & Nevins, New Orleans circa 1830, comprising a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, each with a lobed bulbous body below a die rolled band of scrolling roses, silver handles with projecting thumb pieces, a short neck with scrolling oak and acorn, and on a domed foot. Two thumb pieces bent. Height: 10-1/2 in. Weight: 59 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
