In the form of a hollowed-out tree stump, the sides chased with bark texture and applied with cut off roots, the four areas in between with chased landscapes, the front set with a plaque reading "A mountain built by nature for itself/ a Man not on the roll of common men" below a portrait medallion (unidentified), the back with a heart-shaped reserve with facsimile signatures and with two handles cast as small branches. The second part of the quote is a paraphrase of a line spoken by Glendower in "Henry IV", Act 3: Scene 1. Marked on the bottom rim "Tiffany & Co 10345 * 0001 Sterling". Includes a metal liner.
