BEHRINGER DIAMOND MINE DISPLAY WITH ORIGINAL BOX
A wonderful Behringer Studio animated Diamond Mine jewelry store window display with original shipping case. This outstanding mid-20th century electrically-operated animated advertising display by Behringer Studios, Inc., South Pasadena, Ca. was for use in jewelry store windows, elaborately constructed as a whimsical diamond mine operation with molded rocky mountain backdrop, mine entrances, circular railroad track, one cart full with simulated diamonds, multiple hand-painted miner figures. Also includes some whimsical golden nuggets. Sign in the upper-left reads "Diamond Mine Visitors Welcome". Behringer's fanciful electrical animated displays were supplied to jewelers throughout the United States to attract attention in their window displays, promoting the sales of diamonds and jewelry. This is an especially appealing diamond-related example, retaining its seldom-found original factory transportation case. CONDITION: This particular Behringer is in working order, in excellent condition overall.
