Maker's marked "Simplex Ticket and Printing Company New York City." A nice example of this heavy paper sign promoting safety at railroad crossings with a wonderful train and man graphic. CONDITION: The field of the sign retains excellent color throughout the lithography, with some light staining from moisture in the field. The extreme outer edges of the sign remain nice and crisp. It appears the sign was likely re-backed onto newer material at some point, and the outer white border appears to have been repainted in various areas.
