This sculpture of a bronze nude standing in front of and gazing into a mirror is by Emile Pinedo. It is signed "Pinedo" on the base. Figure stands on top of a golden pillow that rests on the floor. She gazes at herself and brushes her hair. The floor is carved to resemble tile. The mirror is encased in a golden frame, which has carved feet along with the base and top of the mirror. On the tiled floor are several engraved markings, one of which says "Made in France", along with another stamp noting that it is bronze and from 1818.
Condition: (Excellent).
