This was originally a "Cardinal Cherry" soda fountain syrup dispenser. The top 1/3 of the dispenser has been cut off and the lip has been finished to form the "Cardinal Cherry" candy or fruit bowl. The bowl features very good color and shine on the outside. It is marked correctly "For the J. Hungerford Smith Company" out of Rochester New York.
