The future star trophy awarded to a young Cassius Clay from Louisville Golden Gloves and WAVE TV stands 14" tall and has a metallic boxer atop. There are two eagles on lower platforms and a brass plate at the center. There is a plate that reads Cassius Clay along the bottom. The white Bakelite trophy is stamped twice underneath "Columbia Gym". The trophy comes from the collection of Cassius Clay trainer Joe Martin. A copy of the original Joe Martin letter will accompany the trophy as well as a letter from Ali Collector Peter Markovian and a letter of opinion From Craig Hamilton.
