These desktop cigar lighters came in many forms, this one being a 3D monkey's head, with a cigar protruding from his head and a lift lid in the back where kerosene was put and a perpetual flame would protrude from his cigar in order to light the cigar. It is mounted on the form of an eagle or falcon's claw. CONDITION: It shows great aged patina to the bronze sculpture, amazing detail both in the forms of the figure's eyes as well as the teeth clenching the cigar in his mouth. An unusual example not often seen of these desktop cigar lighters.
