This is a very rare cigar trade stimulator that was distributed by the Charles C Bishop company of St. Louise at the turn of the century. In a flyer dated 1905 from the company, The Triograph is referred in this way: "The Triograph heads the list as a Cigar machine, furnishing all the elements of chance that any wheel or other device accomplishes, The Triograph furnishes a perfect fluid cigar lighter, elegant in appearance, safe, sure as a lighter, and economical to use. The Triograph furnishes entertainment for all with a revolving panorama of beautiful pictures seen through stereoscopic lenses". This rare example is complete and working, though the stereo viewer does not cycle, with a walnut case showing little signs of wear or use, the cigar lighter with a lantern chimney, and the dice mechanism is working but a little sluggish. An amazing trade stimulator from the late 19th century in complete and working condition. A great addition to any cigar or gambling collection. With key.
