CHESHIRE R.R. ADAMS & WESTLAKE BRASS TOP BELLBOTTOM RAILROAD LANTERN.

This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/9/2020

A real nice double guard A&W example in the New England configuration. The base has brakeman's ("ice") spikes and a glass fount with functioning No. 1 ratchet burner. Real nice additions to this lantern are copper plates with "J. Ballbee" stamped in on the chimney and base. Base also has "B.F Vt." which is assumed to be Bellows Falls, VT. No. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "C.R.R." and has minor rim flaking that doesn't distract. Lantern was cleaned and clear coated long ago and is in excellent condition. Scale rating is 8.

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: 11 - 1/4" x 6 - 5/8" x 6 - 5/8".
