DSP. A nice example of this AAA Chicago Motor Club sign featuring vibrant colors and shine, as well as an original bracket. CONDITION: Side 1 retains strong colors and shine throughout the field with only minor surface blemishes. The detractions are largely limited to the mounting holes and the extreme outer border. The extreme outer edge shows consistent porcelain chipping around the sign, but does not distract from the item's over all ability to display well (8.8). Side 2 retains good colors, but shows areas of surface abrasions and staining throughout the entire field. The outer edge of the sign shows consistent porcelain chipping around most of the sign and the mounting holes also shows porcelain loss (8.1). The cast iron bracket has fairly heavy oxidation but is still in tact and compliments this sign nicely. Overall this sign displays well and still retains a great look with minor patina that would be a good display piece in any collection.
