High front aluminum helmet painted black. Made by Cairns & Brothers, N.Y. Front shield reads "Traumbersville Fire Co #1" (missing letter "L") with eagle finial. Pennsylvania original wool liner and hanger on rear brim. Some paint loss. Helmet is in good condition, shield is in fair to good condition. Circa 1900.
