DAMAGED THIRD REICH RAILWAY EAGLE.

Third Reich railway eagle, which appears to have been damaged while the eagle was being removed from the train. Aluminum eagle is 22" wide, and appears that approximately 2 inches is missing and broken off at the mounting location. Likely occurred while being pried off. Eagle reverse is marked "G. AI-Mg-SI" and "LOK, RZAG, BLN". Eagle has patina throughout with areas of remaining paint in the low areas. A desirable example. CONDITION: Overall fair.
