13 - 1/2" German Belton-type doll with spectacular bulgy threaded, light blue paperweight eyes, open/closed mouth with protruding upper lip and molded upper teeth, with slight tongue tip showing, pierced ears, well-painted lashes and thick one-stroke eyebrows, on a fully articulated German wood and composition body. Body has some overall scrubbing an light one re-touching of paint. As it typical of Beltons, she is strung to the body through two holes on the flat-cut solid domed head. The very nice costume consists of a one-piece mauve silk dress with ecru lace trim, and well coordinated matching bonnet. The wig in antique blond mohair with bangs, and the shoes are very nice old leather which well match the dress. Underwear is also all antique. Doll has one minuscule surface-like at one stringing hole on top of head, insignificant, and probably no more that a slight firing flaw.
