Beautiful leaded glass table lamp by Duffner & Kimberly. The 20" diameter dome-shaped shade features the iconic colonial motif. The shade features a geometric background of caramel glass dotted with diamond-shaped butterscotch granite-backed tiles. Along the lower borders is an additional geometric swirling pattern in various shades of streaked caramels and tans. Granite-backed tiles create a wonderful shimmering effect in the shade. The shade sits on a patinated bronze Duffner and Kimberly table base. The three-socket base is in a bronze patina. Condition: The shade is in excellent condition, free of any loose or missing tiles with a small number of tight and stable heat cracks. The base is in excellent condition, free of cracks or dents to the bronze with minor oxidation to the foot. This lamp appears in "Mosaic Shades Volume 2" by Paul Crist, p. 199.
