DUNBAR & CO. POPCORN WAGON

An early 20th century Dunbar & Co. Popcorn Wagon in fire engine red oil paint with yellow chassis and original old popcorn machine inside. Has brass shelving and brackets holding up a wooden shelf inside, nicely pinstriped. It has foil-on-glass marquee signs, two reading "Buttered Popcorn", two reading "Sanitary", and one reading "Fresh Roasted Peanuts". This particular popcorn wagon has been restored. The right-hand side of the wagon reads "Popcorn" in big yellow letters and has the original tag, which reads "Manufactured by Dunbar Co., Chicago, Patent Pending" and has a Serial Number of 3109. CONDITION: Overall condition is good, with a good original patina to the nicely-done older restoration. One "Buttered Popcorn" foil on glass sign has some flaking evident and a "Fresh Roasted Peanuts" sign is cracked in two places in the middle. The original popcorn machine has not been tested for functionality.
