EARLY EUROPEAN BRONZE FIELD CANNON AND CARRIAGE SCALE MODEL.
The 18th century three-stage bronze barrel measures 12" overall including cascabel. The bore measures 1-1/8". Unknown crest in relief on top. Complete with a brass mounted carriage and limber. CONDITION: Brass retains a very attractive brown mustard patina. Carriage and limber are as-found and cracks and losses throughout. Limber wheel axle is bent. Trunnion covers absent. Some sections of wheels are missing. With some restoration, this will be a very special piece.
