Very desirable, and exceedingly rare Colt's patent copper black powder flask for the Walker / 1st Mod. Dragoon revolver, that is military marked and inspected. This flask was inspected by Captain William Anderson Thornton, who was the inspector for the Colt Walkers and Dragoons purchased by the US government. The top of the flask bears his initials "WAT," and "P." These flasks are discussed in an article in the Colt periodical, "Rampant Colt," summer 2019. CONDITION: Excellent with even patina and age wear to the raised areas.
