A late 19th century/ early 20th century horse race game with 8 horses contained within an 8 sided wooden cabinet with a glass dome covering. It seems that during this time period the horse racing theme was quite prevalent thus there were quite a few different horse race games manufactured by various companies. Most seem to be somewhat simplistic in cabinet and mechanisms as opposed to later mass produced machines by companies such as Mills, Watling, Caille, Fey, etc. These style machines appear to be precursor models to later styles such as the Saratoga Sweepstakes or Official Sweepstakes models. There are only a handful of this particular model known to exist today. Was likely on a stand as there is an opening in the base directly under where the coins would drop.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 17-½" D.
