EXCEEDINGLY RARE RANDALL MODEL 1-8 ALL PURPOSE FIGHTER WITH CARBON FIBER SCALES.
A scarce example of a Randall Model 1-8 All Purpose Fighter. The knife features a clip point blade marked "RANDALL MADE / ORLANDO, FL" between Randall's signature scimitars with separate "S" denoting stainless steel construction. Blade is bright with great cross graining. Silvered cross guard and aluminum pommel with black and aluminum spacers. Hidden tang construction with rare carbon fiber handle. The knife is complete with its black leather Model A scabbard that features "RANDALL MADE" snaps that were used on Randall scabbards beginning in the 1990s. Unmarked orange hone present. Scabbard remains supple with light blemishes and is marked with Randall's football logo on reverse belt loop as well as "8". Only two Randall Model 1-8 All Purpose Fighters were constructed with carbon fiber handles. Light handling wear throughout. CONDITION: Excellent.
