Powder flask of thin green flattened horn with finely engraved wide silver and niello mounts. Full length silver dispensing lever at side and screw plug in base. Obverse mounts show symmetrical openwork abstract floral scrolls on striated background. Reverse with solid bands, niello abstract floral scrolls at top, apparent signature at bottom in rectangular cartouche. Diamond motif band around circumference of base. Bottom engraved with latticework of long central line intersected by vertical strokes joined by graceful curves top and bottom. CONDITION: Very good. Short surface gap on reverse. The engraving of the mounts is excellent for condition and quality. SR
