Late 18th to early 19th century. Large example with iron ring in beak and wheat clusters in talons. These were often displayed in institutional buildings, suspended from cornices. Patriotic bunting would be suspended from the ring and draped to the next eagle, often in a line. The plumage and all details of the body are well carved, and the body and each wing are from solid stock. It retains original gilding, linked chain hanger, and iron ring. There are old restorations to the wing attachments, but is in generally good condition.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
