Published circa 1812 by John Conrad. This attractive printed map depicts the American Northeast including major towns, bodies of water, and mile markers along major routes. State outlines are done in color. While battle sites are not marked, this map could have been used to better understand news reports of the British invasion and subsequent battles. Map is framed in a simple matted wood frame. CONDITION: Very good. Map is clear overall with some light staining, foxing and a few minor tears which do not detract from the overall presentation. Frame has light wear but remains serviceable. View: 23 - 1/4" x 16 - 1/4". Overall: 30" x 23 - 1/2". BAS
