Condition: Canvas needs re-stretching and shows signs of buckling from the pigments. There are areas of craquelure are visible in the upper and middle portion of the painting, scattered small chips in the area of the vase and the cup and paint scuffing visible in the middle-left center near the mat. Some paint loss and unfinished areas in the bottom corners and other imperfections. No holes or apparent restorations. Linen mat is showing age wear. Frame is in good condition. Provenance: Frederick Serger was a friend and a patient of Dr. Kingsley Lattimer and gifted this artwork to him as a sign of a gratitude. Comes with a book and postcard from the artist himself.
