A wonderful example of this iconic 3-dimensional advertising in wonderful condition. Founded in 1936 in Southern California, the restaurant chain grew to 240 stores by 1989. There are many collectors seeking the popular namesake statues that often were placed at the entrance to the restaurants. This example is composite construction, on original base, and a full 8' tall. CONDITION: Showing a small professional repair to the right hand, only seen on close examination. Original paint and on original stand. He is in the running position with his iconic slingshot in his back pocket, with his happy face and double loaded cheeseburger. He is labeled "Frisch's Big Boy." His stand is on wheels for easy placement and movement. An extremely hard size to find and would be the corner stone of any collection.
