SSP. Sign is maker-marked S.P. & dated 1960. An excellent displaying example of this iconic porcelain service station sign from Frontier gasoline showing excellent horse & rider graphic as well as "Rarin' To Go" slogan. CONDITION: Sign is overall excellent showing fantastic color & gloss throughout the field with clean script as well as an excellent condition graphic. Sign shows one small chip in the center field as well as some lighter chips in the lower field under the "Frontier" lettering. Sign shows some minimal chipping at the left outer edge as well as minimal nicks at the outer edge. Sign shows one small drilled hole at the left edge, but is not distracting. Sign is single-sided, but shows an excellent hand-painted backside with "Sharp & Recond" throughout the field. An outstanding displaying piece of advertising from front to back, and a beautiful example of service station signage.
