Gary Little is a knife maker who lives on the Oregon coast who has been making knives for about 20 years. The knife features a Damascus blade marked "G. Little" on obverse ricasso and "Broadbent Or." on the reverse ricasso. Beautifully engraved sterling silver bolsters. Hidden tang construction with scrimshaw whale tooth handle showcasing a whaling vessel on one side and and a whaleboat in action against a whale on the other. The scrimshaw is supposed to depict Moby Dick and the Pequod whaling ship from Herman Melville’s 1851 novel. Scrimshaw is signed "J. Hagnas 92" on each side. Light patina throughout. CONDITION: Very good.
