Very nice 12” (31 centimeter) papier mache shoulder head on a firm leather body with narrow waist, wooden lower arms and legs. She has long black molded hair in “so called” Spaniel type hair do, wearing an original lace dress with a gauze skirt and a wedding veil made of lace attached to the head by a gold band. Although firmly encased within the shadow box, the finish seems to be original, although the back of the hair and shoulder is unable to be examined because of the box. The box has a walnut patina frame with a vintage floral wall paper lining. The cabinet itself measures 17” (43 centimeter) tall x 11” (28 centimeters) wide x 10” (25 centimeters) deep.
