This is a group of 11 New York license plates, all from the same owner, a man named Percy Lang of Waverley, NY. Mr. Lang was a wealthy man, and as evidence of that fact, owned not one, but two early automobiles. He registered the first one with NY plate #13 and the second with plate #113. This group includes the following plates: for #13, a 1910 single plate in excellent condition, a 1911 single plate with solid metal in repainted condition, a single 1912 porcelain in restored condition, and a pair of 1913 plates, both solid plates in repainted condition. The #113 plates offered as follows: 1911 pair in very good to excellent original condition, 1912 pair, porcelain, one in very good condition, the other with a large chip in the vicinity of the crank handle as well as a few others mainly along the left edge (see image), and a pair of 1913s, in good to very good condition. It is unusual to find a group of plates of this age - over 100 years old - with such low numbers, all from the same owner.

Condition: (Good - Excellent).

Item Dimensions: 6" x 12".
