AGS CERTIFIED #10015. DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Ingram Richardson & Dated 1950. A well displaying example of this iconic Porcelain Service Station Sign from Gulf showing Gulf shaded lettering as well as "Dealer". CONDITION: Side one shows very good color & gloss overall with numerous areas of light chipping in the inner & outer field as well as areas of surface scratch. Side one shows chipping at the mounting holes as well as some rust pitting at the lower right. Side one shows minimal edge chipping, (Score 83). Side two also shows excellent color & gloss with multiple areas of light chipping in the fields as well as some black scratching and surface wear. Side two shows rust pitting at the right side with chipping at the lower edge. The mounting holes are in very good condition and the outer edge shows minimal wear, (Score 82). Sign is mounted in the original iron ring which shows heavy rust and patina and displays the sign well.
