A beautiful reverse painted lamp by Handel. The 10” diameter shade has a yellow background with a pair of brightly painted parrots in red, orange, yellow, blue and green. The parrots are perched on a tree branch, with green leaves and purples berries in the background. The shade is in excellent condition, free of cracks. There is an extremely small chip to the rim by the signature, which is barely noticeable. It is signed Handel 7073. The shade sits on a single socket metal base, finished in a deep brown patina. The base has an elaborately decorated pedestal. The base is in very good condition, free of dents or cracks, with some minor scratching and loss of finish on column. Base is signed Handel. Harp appears to have been replaced. Dimensions: 14” x 10”
