This style box was used from 1903, when the name was shortened to “Expert”, until about 1906 when the font was slightly changed. The bait that goes in this box will have gold washed cups and tail cap, brass hangers, and a friction-fit collar. The box itself is in very nice condition, with some light wear on the outside, a few pin holes at one end, and all corners being solid. It grades at least Very Good Plus, and is an excellent candidate to try and match to a similarly well-preserved bait.
