Introductory white pasteboard box for the Heddon 3 hook Muskellunge Minnow with a nice condition #707 fancy sienna crackleback minnow. Box is significantly damaged, missing paper, taped corners, staining, but there are less than perhaps 20 known examples. Box is faintly stamped on one end 701, making it for a rainbow bait. The minnow, featuring the large sway belly, is rigged with a marked front prop and an unmarked rear prop, dating it almost exactly to the 1911 transitional period in Heddon history. Condition of the minnow is excellent- due to chipping on one of the 3 bellyweights and some very light varnish wear, otherwise bright and shiny and worthy of a prominent place in any Heddon collection!
