HIRES ROOT MUNIMAKER SYRUP DISPENSER

This c. 1900 marble, metal, and glass syrup dispenser from Hires Root Beer features the iconic company logo on four sides of the marble base, as well as on the metal spigot and milk glass globe. CONDITION: The marble base shows light wear and chipping to the flat surface where fountain glasses would set while the syrup was dispensed. One corner of the marble side feet shows repair. The four sides retain their original metal signs with the Hires logo nicely embossed in black. The metal spigot shows darkening and tarnish to the metal finish. The milk glass globe topper shows a few brown spots to the white glass with the logos remaining legible and vibrant. The original manufacturer tag is still attached to the front and reads "Manufactured by the Charles E. Hires Company. Munimaker. #6805." A complete and desirable example.
