Single 15" Globe Lens on High Profile Metal Body. Scarce C. 1920's Single Lens for Hoosier Independent Gasoline showing a large Independent Thunderbird graphic at the center with unique Independent script. A product of Hoosier Oil Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. CONDITION: Lens is in overall outstanding condition throughout showing excellent color & gloss with just a very minimal amount of surface scratch. Lens shows some light cloudiness in the white backing in the outer field and edge but is overall outstanding. Lens is set by snap-ring in an original High Profile Metal Body which has been nicely repainted in red. An outstanding displaying example of this scarce piece from Hoosier Oil.
