DSP. Maker mark "Made in U.S.A." C. 1930s Hudson Built Cars Authorized Service double-sided porcelain sign with excellent color and shine. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss throughout, with multiple porcelain chips and surface stains throughout the field. Sign also displays deeper scratching, mostly in the "D" and "N" of the word "Hudson." The outer edges of the sign and hanging holes exhibit areas of paint loss, as well as staining. (8.0). Side 2, has good color and gloss with porcelain chips throughout the field, as well as surface staining throughout the white sections of porcelain. Sign also has surface scratching and more notable deeper scratches throughout the "Hudson" lettering. The outer edges of the piece and top-right hanging hole show areas of porcelain loss. (8.0). Overall, an excellent early piece, perfect for any collection.
