Late 20th century, Central Persia. This well made example depicting a hunting scene of Royals with admiring family observers, hunters on horseback and attendants. All in a fanciful flowering landscape on a pale blue sky and tan ground. The main border with polychrome cartouches depicting hunting animals bordered by trellis work withing two blue-black guard borders of vinery with lotus blossoms. The rug is 7' 6" x 5'. Very good to excellent with no wear, discoloration, repairs or imperfections.
