Jane Peterson (1876 - 1965), original gouache on paper painting of a Turkish port, with figures on the land and in the boats. Beautiful vibrant colors and elegant brushstrokes compliment this lovely landscape painting. Signed "Jane Peterson" in the lower-left margin. Image sight 7 - 3/4" high x 11 - 1/2" wide. Painting is housed behind the glass in modern gold gilt frame. This masterpiece comes in excellent condition, commensurate with age, with minor gouache cracking and minor wear to the frame. It otherwise displays gorgeously and is a great example of her art.
