Measures approximately 7 - 3/8" from tip of kissaki to munemachi. Hira zukuri form. Overly polished which obscures finer aspects of blade, but there looks to be a gunome hamon. No visible hada. Couple nicks to ha. Brass habaki with beaded mune. Kiri kurijiri nakagojiri, single punched mekugi-ana. Rayskin same. Silver menuki in the form of galloping horses. Aikuchi mounts with kozuka made of a single piece with applied silver snake. Nicely textured saya with a finely detailed Minogame near horn koijiri. Finely detailed kurikata. CONDITION: Good. Blade overly polished with details obscured. Numerous handling marks throughout, saya with a few minor chips and scrapes, a few more significant ones near kozuka hole. Some minor lifting of wood under same from a previous menuki was too large. Mouth has some chips from fitting of kozuka. EMW
