Single Sided Curved Glass. Maker Marked "Vitrolite. The Meyercord Co. Chicago." This C. 1910's-1920's curved glass sign from John Walter & Company Brewing features large "Beer" lettering with a small keg graphic in the center crest. This sign features its original and ornate copper framing around the perimeter of the curved glass. CONDITION: The field of this sign remains exceptionally clean with no mentionable damage. There are a few light surface scuffs on the surface of the glass, but nothing that effects the paint on the bottom side. The copper frame retains a wonderful pattern design around the perimeter and shows light age appropriate patina. The backside of the sign is still intact and ready to hang on the corner of a column of bar.
