Always popular K&R doll, representing Gretchen, however, this one has the seldom found glass eyes. She is incised on the back of the head "KR 114 46" and has a closed pouty mouth, brown glass sleep eyes, tiny painted upper lashes, and one stroke eyebrows, with deep dimple in chin. She is on a similar era German fully articulated wooden composition body with original patina, however, the body is not the one typically found on this doll, and makes the doll about 2" taller overall that indicated by the centimeter size of 46 on the head. She has a cream-colored silk and lace dress, antique underwear, newer and very nice white leather shoes, and a replacement light brown human hair wig over cardboard pate, with a homemade but very stylish cream color silk bonnet with flowers. Has a few very shallow wig pulls on left side of head above the ear, however, very lovely face painting and no cheek rubs.
