All cloth doll by German dollmaker Käthe Kruse with painted hair, molded & painted features, the head appears to have original paint with minimal minor touch-up in stitching below the lips. Body with wide hips is sturdy but legs have soiling, stamped on one foot with Kruse signature and number 11487 and Germany on the other. Appropriately dressed in antique underclothing, shoes and socks, and fabulous bonnet; apron and dress are newer. Exceptionally nice one!
