Very nice French musical automaton, attributed to Leobold Lambert, with original key in music box with the “LB” logo as part of the key. The unique bisque head with all of the color fired into the bisque is thought to have been produced by Jumea exclusively for this particular model. The figure is 14” tall but with the base it is 16” all together. When the key is wound the music begins to play and the right hand moves to the left as to pour the tea into the wooden cups on the tray. The hands are also bisque and in very nice condition. There is a black mohair wig with long queue and the costume is made of silk and brocade materials. The base is covered with gold velvet and metallic trim. It functions very well as does the music.

Item Dimensions: 19" x 8 -1/2" x 5 -1/4".
