Very nice 31" (80 cm) child by Gauthier, incised "F.G.13," as well as their logo of a scroll or a cartouche. She has a closed mouth with the illusion of a tongue tip in between - much like a Bru - and large brown paperweight eyes with well painted lashes and brows, mounted to the original fully-jointed wooden composition body with straight wrists and elongated well-formed fingers. She wears a white cotton and lace dress with a crocheted shawl, antique underwear, old blue leather shoes and white stockings. The wig is a mid-20th century human hair wig over cork pate with a very nice silk and lace bonnet. Old light repaint that covers most of the surface of the body.
