Large lot of miscellaneous legal documents, many from Pennsylvania and Bucks County, including a substantial number relating to a lawsuit against the Lancaster Watch Company in the late 1800s and material from J.L. Steinmetz who was an attorney involved in the action. Lot includes dozens of multipage documents including several marked as exhibits for the case. Lot includes steel engraving plate used for portrait of J.L. Steinmetz in "Prominent Progressive Pennsylvanians" with letter; miscellaneous deeds and insurance documents of the Ludwig family, Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania; several visually appealing early deeds and indentures on vellum including an 1806 deed, 1859 deed, 1851 release, large multi page British indenture circa 1871, 1851 Bucks County indenture, etc. CONDITION: Good overall. Should be inspected in person for content.
