Here is an almost puppy sized version of Steiff's beloved prewar Bully dog. He is 25 cm tall, sitting, head jointed and made from white and orange mohair. His prominent mouth and jowls are made from tan velvet which shows some surface losses. Some of his original frckles are still visible. His ears are lined in wires and are posable. He has three black claws on each paw. His face is detailed with oversized black and brown glass pupil eyes and a hand embroidered nose that is missing a few stitches. Bully retains his original bell, his tan ribbon is not original. This specific Bully color combination and pattern was made in 9 sizes ranging from 10 to 50 cm from 1927 through 1932 overall and is somewhat rarer than his black and white cousin who was produced over a longer time frame. Bully retains his long trailing "F" button and partially legible red ear tag as his Steiff ID. Condition: as noted. With surface dust and a light touch of thinning commensurate to age, otherwise good to very good.

Item Dimensions: 12" x 6 -1/2".
