(Gun A) Allen patent .30 caliber, 6 shot, double action, top hammer percussion. Metal is a dark brown grey patina, never cleaned, with light engraving on shield and frame, original nipples, excellent original walnut bag handles with silver escutcheons on both sides. Barrels are 3-1/8". This is dealer marked A.W. Spies. (Gun B) .30 caliber, 3-3/8" barrel, 6 shot double action. Barrels rotate and indexes fine, original nipples, excellent walnut grips with silver escutcheons. Allen's patent dated 1837. Deep patina with pitting on metal.
