English Chad Valley “Prince Edward” cousin of Queen Elizabeth and son of the Duke & Duchess of Kent has a molded felt head with painted features and blonde mohair wig, wearing original clothing (coat has faded) with “Made in England” label with 2 original cardboard hang tags. The second doll is a seldom found Dora Petzhold manufactured in Getmany in the earlier part of the 20th century. A papier-mâché head (some overpaint), mohair wig and clean stockinet body, very nicely dressed in antique clothing with complete undies, shoes, socks and blue wool coat. Two very-hard-to-find dolls!
