Lot consists of 2 excavated pieces. (A) Relic condition saber excavated in Fredericksburg, VA, area. Roughly 18" of blade remains, brown, overall pitting. Pommel and guard with nice pale green patina, no bends or breaks, typical CS less finished construction, likely by Haiman, Columbus, GA. COA Shiloh Relics. CONDITION: Good as excavated. (B) Relic M1861 bayonet with end fashioned into a hook for use in camp as pot hook or on battlefield for moving bodies. Excavated in middle Tennessee along Stones River. CONDITION: Good as excavated.
