Lot consists of: (A) French M1767 short sword. The sword features a 22 - 1/8" steel single edged blade. The blade is marked with French inspector proofs. Brass hilt is 1-piece with ribbed grip, crossguard, and pommel. Knucklebow is unit marked. CONDITION: The blade exhibits a gray patina with pitting throughout its length. Brass hilt exhibits a pleasant patina with expected handling wear. Overall good. (B) French World War II era flag pole top. The pole top is hollow and constructed of cast brass marked "R.F." for Republique Francaise. CONDITION: The pole top exhibits various dings and scratches with no major dents to its thin construction.
